PinsVid is a free online Pinterest image downloader. It works in any browser and doesn't ask you to log in.
To download pics from Pinterest, the steps are the same everywhere: copy the Pin link, paste it in the box above, tap Download. Only the place where the image ends up changes.
Open the Pin in the Pinterest app, tap Share, then "Copy link". Paste it into PinsVid in Chrome and tap Download. The picture goes to your Download folder. Open the Files app and move it to Pictures or DCIM if you want it in your Gallery.
Copy the Pin link the same way, then open PinsVid in Safari. After you tap Download, the photo is saved in the Files app under Downloads. Open it, tap Share, then Save Image to add it to Photos (your camera roll).
Copy the address from the browser bar while the Pin is open. Paste it into PinsVid and download. The image lands in your Downloads folder, ready for Canva, Photoshop or printing.
Pinterest shows scaled-down copies of images in the feed so pages load fast. When you screenshot a Pin, or save the copy your phone is showing, you often get that smaller version. Zoom in and it turns soft or pixelated.
PinsVid works as an HD Pinterest picture downloader. It asks for the largest version Pinterest has for that Pin. In most cases, that is the original the creator uploaded. A standard Pin is 1000 × 1500 pixels, and many photos are uploaded much bigger, so the difference is easy to see on a laptop screen or in print.
There is one honest limit. If a creator uploaded a small image, the original is small, and no Pinterest image downloader can add detail that was never there. PinsVid never upscales or edits the file. The image keeps its original format and has no watermark added by us.
A carousel Pin holds several pictures you swipe through, like a recipe in steps or an outfit from different angles. Saving it inside Pinterest usually gives you only the image on screen.
Paste a carousel link into PinsVid and it lists every image in that Pin. Download them all, each in full resolution, without opening the Pin again and again.

Pinterest's help pages describe a "Download image" option in a Pin's menu. In real use, you can't count on it. When we checked the Pinterest app ourselves, the Pin had no download button at all. On Android, Pinterest has moved the option into the Share menu, and app reviews from August to October 2026 often say it is hidden, has moved again or simply doesn't work. Pinterest's own help page also says not every Pin can be downloaded.

The link opens an error. Make sure you copied a single Pin link (pinterest.com/pin/...) or a pin.it share link. Search pages don't work.
It's a video, not a photo. Video Pins need our Pinterest video downloader, which saves the MP4 with sound. For animated Pins, use the Pinterest GIF downloader.
The Pin won't load at all. The Pin may be on a secret board or a private account. PinsVid only downloads public content, so private photos stay private.
You can't find the file. On Android, check the Download folder in the Files app. On iPhone, check Files, then Downloads.
The image looks small. That is the size the creator uploaded, so try to save a Pinterest image from a different Pin of the same photo.
Every photo on Pinterest belongs to the person who made it, even when it is easy to download.
